Audio Recording Lectures

- Share and review your Academic Adjustment Plan with your instructor.
- Bring a recording device to class, such as a phone, laptop, or audio recorder.
- You may be asked to sign a recording agreement before using this accommodation.
- Discuss appropriate placement of the recording device with the instructor.
Instructor Responsibilities
- Allow audio recording when approved as an accommodation.
- Recording may not be appropriate in some courses, such as those involving sensitive personal discussions.
- Instructors may request that students sign a recording agreement.
- Discuss reasonable recording logistics with the student when needed
